WASTE WALK!
Become a sponsor of litter pickup at Kennispark and pick up a stick yourself…
Litter is not pretty. But worse: it threatens our living environment. Green Hub Twente (of the University of Twente) therefore organises the Waste Walk. An international initiative by Team Seas, which raises money to clean up our oceans.
Help clean up!
On 23 March, we will be cleaning up litter at the Kennispark. Twente Milieu will make materials available to clean up the litter. Sign up as a (company) team and become the best litter picker of Kennispark! State your name, team name and the number of people.

You can also help as a company. For every kilogram of litter collected, you donate 10 euros. The teams are expected to collect around 50 kg of litter. The amount will go to Team Seas, who will donate it directly to two non-profit organisations: Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup.

What is good and what can be improved?
At Kennispark, we want to provide space for walking and cycling. But that’s not yet properly organised everywhere. Take a stroll around our park with the Kennispark team during lunch and tell us which areas are really in need of improvement. Or tell us where you think things are going well. We will draw and write with you and use your input to improve the walking routes at Kennispark. Will you join us?

HEALTHY LIFE PAVILION
On 23 March, we will organise a Healthy Life Pavilion on the Innovation Trail during lunch. Companies that can help you with a healthy lifestyle will present themselves and give you tips and advice. So get moving and get advice! The following companies will literally get you moving!
- SON Coach and Trainer: Murat will let you experience physically what sports at SON Coach and Trainer mean and will give you good tips for a healthy lifestyle.
- The Rowclub: Hopefully soon at Kennispark, a cool new indoor rowing club! Test your rowing skills and sail through the Twente countryside on screens. Everyone can row!
- Twente Mobiel: Ever tried a speedlec? This is your chance to test this super-fast e-bike. Colleagues from Twente Mobiel will be happy to talk to you in the Pavilion. For example, they can tell you more about interesting fiscal bicycle incentives. It is also possible to make a test ride on a speed pedelec. Especially for people who live at a greater distance from the park, think of 15 kilometres or more, this is an ideal means of transport. And for 179 (!) Kennispark participants in the successful ‘Fietsmaatjes’ campaign, they will receive a double reward for coming to work by bike that day and reporting to the pavilion.
- Student teams: Game on! You can see the innovative developments of the student teams with your own eyes. They will be present on the Innovation Trail and will also open the doors of their Future Factory at Capitol 25, so make your lunch walk a little bigger than usual and take a look inside! Really, really cool to see.
- Plaza Padel: This sport is hot: Padel! Try it yourself on the Innovation Path to see if this sport is something for you.
- Novel-T: We are going to start again with the Football Cup and Tennis Cup! Sign up on the spot, alone or with a team. Who do you want to beat at Kennispark?

PLANTS FOR PALATIJN
On 23 March, we will be planting biodiverse bushes along the Palatijn. Do you ‘live’ near the Palatijn? Then plant with us.

COMPANY DRINKS AT HOST BIOENERGY SYSTEMS – FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS
In keeping with the theme of Green and Healthy, Kennispark Entrepreneurs (formerly the Kennispark Business Association) is organising a company reception at HoSt. Members and non-members are welcome to join us for a sociable end to the Active Day.
