The Campus Café brings Twente’s innovation community together with breakout sessions on new technologies, innovative and international entrepreneurship and talent retention. Entrepreneurs, professionals, researchers and talent have the opportunity to inspire each other, learn from each other and get to know each other better.

What role can a building play in connecting education, research and business? Connect-U is a breeding ground for talent, innovation and business development. The city campus in Enschede is opening its doors and would like to celebrate this with you on Thursday 21 April. We would like to show you how we create value and connect talent in new ways. Table discussion with André Roos (chairman of the Connect-U steering committee), Steven van Roon (quartermaster T-Valley/Novel-T), Viola te Velde (head of business operations &deGroot). The discussion led by Bas Westerweel will focus on how a community comes about and what students and businesses can gain from it.

Discussion with Martin Olde Weghuis (TopTeam Sport), Paul van de Kolk (Sportinnovator), Frits Oosterveld (Lector Saxion) and Carlo Caunter (Little Rocket). The discussion with Bas Westerweel is about how technology can help in sports and exercise and the use of data to achieve better results (beweegmonitor).

The opening of Connect-U is part of the Dutch Innovation Days, a five-day innovation festival where creatives, entrepreneurs, engineers, inventors, geeks, artists, talents and the curious meet each other. April 20-24, Enschede will host the second edition of Dutch Innovation Days with a unique crossover formula, full of talks, challenges and experiences with mindblowing innovations and pioneers, spread across 15 creative hotspots in the city, with Connect-U as epicenter.
