On the initiative of VONK, the KVO team was firmly put to the test by the KIWA auditor on Tuesday, November 14. Are the plans for improving security at the Kennispark smart enough? And is the cooperation between the police, municipality, fire department, FC Twente, UT and the entrepreneurs going well?

The answer to those questions was a definite yes! After completing the final formalities, the certificate is in. The certificate is available to members of VONK and thanks to the handbook of VONK also to members of Kennispark Ondernemers and the certificate can be downloaded here. Obtaining the certificate is a great result of the cooperation between VONK, Kennispark Entrepreneurs, Park Manager Mark van Mast, police, municipality, fire department, FC Twente, UT and the entrepreneurs.
Obtaining the certificate is a nice basis for, for example, setting up collective security and perhaps camera surveillance in the future. And the starting point for an investigation into traffic safety on our park. One of the advantages of the hallmark is that some insurers give discounts to affiliated members of VONK and Kennispark Ondernemers. For example, Interpolis gives a standard 10% discount.
Most importantly, by working together we are working toward a safer Kennispark. Obtaining the Quality Mark for Safe Entrepreneurship is an important step in that process. The Area Transformation Committee of VONK will continue to work in the future for a safe and workable business environment.
