They do so by e.g. helping you develop your business case, finding start-up capital, providing legal support and/or transferring knowledge to a spin-off or an existing business.
Business Development
If you would like to be involved in the spin-off yourself, the business developers can offer support and help you draw up a business plan. They will also help you attract financing. If the business case requires it, they will help you protect your innovation with a patent application.
On behalf of the UT and Saxion, the Novel-T KTO is responsible for closing the deal with industry partners or spin-offs and overseeing the transfer of knowledge.
