Smart Functional Materials are everywhere and are becoming more and more sustainable, smarter and functional today. Within Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the ‘Smart Functional Materials’ lectorate develops innovative concepts and products in collaboration with companies, researchers and students.
The lectorate is part of Smart Industry. On the basis of practical research, smart and functional materials contribute to concrete solutions. Digitization of production networks enables rapid market introduction of innovations. The research group makes daily use of Saxion’s TextielLAB in Enschede.
