Enschede-based software company SST Software has launched its spin-off SST Labs at Kennispark Twente as of May 1, 2023. An innovation lab aimed at supporting organizations in the first early phase of innovation. Within SST Labs a multidisciplinary team develops at the intersection of software, hardware, mechanics and design.

The urgency for entrepreneurs to keep innovating is clear. Many entrepreneurs have good ideas, but their feasibility is often uncertain. Jurre Kuijper will be pulling the cart at SST Labs. In his role as innovation & prototyping specialist, he brings with him over seven years of entrepreneurial experience in product development and innovation. Besides Jurre there is a multidisciplinary team of engineers within software, hardware, mechanics and design. “With this we have all the necessary experience and expertise in house. In addition, where necessary, we embrace the fresh knowledge and out-of-the-box thinking of highly educated students.
