XSens with Movella listed on stock exchange

XSens Technologies, developer and manufacturer of motion sensors started in 2000 as a spin-off of the University of Twente. In more than 22 years, XSens has grown from its headquarters at Kennispark under the Movella banner into a globally operating organization with offices in America, Canada, Europe and Asia and, since today, a listed company.

Joining the Nasdaq offers XSens and Movella the opportunity to further invest in motion technology and talent to accelerate growth and exploit new opportunities in emerging growth markets such as the metaverse, as well as within existing core growth markets.

XSens’ sensors are used in the entertainment industry to create movie animations and games, such as the popular soccer simulation game FIFA, The Matrix, Disney’s The King’s Man and Netflix’s Sweet Home, among others.

‘Motion capturing’ – the innovative technology to capture and analyze motion wirelessly – is also being used in the industrial, healthcare, sports and mobility markets. Wearable sensors enable personalized approaches to rehabilitation and injury prevention. Sports performance technologies have made the lives of hundreds of coaches, elite teams and world-renowned individual athletes easier.
