Join in and #hackthe crisis
The coronavirus has turned the world upside down and presents us with unprecedented challenges. Not only in health care, but also economically and socially. Looking for ways to deal with this crisis, the #hackthecrisis started earlier this month. This initiative has now grown into a global movement. From Estonia and Germany to India and Canada: hackathons are currently being organized all over the world. Tens of thousands of people are joining forces online to find solutions in the fight against the virus and make an impact.
From the 3rd till the 5th of April #hackthecrisis will take place in the Netherlands. This volunteer online hackathon focuses on areas such as patient care, protection for medical staff and hospital cleaners, controlling the virus outbreak and creating digital solutions for businesses and people in quarantine. On Sunday, an expert jury will identify the projects that they believe can make the most impact. The winning teams will receive resources to further realise their solutions.
In order to maximise the impact, the organisation can use all the help it can get. That is why we try to reach everyone who is motivated to contribute in these difficult times. Join #hackthecrisis as a participant, mentor or partner by signing up. More information about the hackathon can be found on this website. Or download the brochure: Hack the Crisis – Partnership Offer.
Let’s hack this crisis together in the Netherlands too!
