Vorig jaar is de slimme oversteek tussen de campus van de universiteit en het Business & Science park gerealiseerd. De Slimme Verbinding is de oversteek die loopt van de Institutenweg over de Hengelosestraat naar de campus van Universiteit Twente. Deze slimme oversteek verbindt Kennispark letterlijk en figuurlijk met de Universiteit en is onderdeel van het Innovatiepad dat van het Station Kennispark naar de UT loopt.

Currently, the meeting rooms on both sides of the smart connection are being completed. The containers have already been installed and fitted with the outer shell, which provides the balance between transparency and privacy of the glass facades. The only thing left to do is to wait for the internet and power connection, so that the electronic locks can also be installed and you can actually book the meeting units through our website.
Both the employees of the companies at Kennispark and students will soon be able to use these for a small fee and meet each other here. In a nutshell, ‘meeting’ is the foundation of our area strategy, and the smart connection, combined with the joint use of the meeting rooms, helps to ensure that we are increasingly moving from two relatively separate areas to one.
Come up with the name for the two meeting units and win a Kennispark Drink Package
Meeting unit I and II is obviously very boring, so we challenge you to come up with a distinctive name for both units that is clearly related to each other, recognizable for Kennispark and has something to do with technology and/or science. And of course appealing to both students and employees.
