MSG places mailbox Capitool, view of further cooperation

At Kennispark we are working hard to shape the community behind the scenes. We are also looking at issues that will contribute to BREEAM certification for the entire area. BREEAM is a method for demonstrably achieving sustainable area development. Softe components such as community building and mutual collaboration help to achieve a higher score. Seen in that light, MSG’s initiative to place a mailbox contributes to a better living environment at Kennispark. With a view to more!

Step 1: Mailbox at Kennispark

A new MSG mailbox has been installed on the Capitool 42 site. At the time of placement, the current Corona situation was not yet in sight, but in the meantime the mailbox has come in handy. You can send your outgoing mail completely contactless. The MSG stamps can be ordered online (www.msg.eu/shop/) and stamped letters can be thrown in the new mailbox. MSG comes here daily to empty the stamps and delivers everything within 24 hours, all over the Netherlands. Moreover, it saves a lot of money (24 cents per item compared to PostNL), because entrepreneurs can reclaim the VAT. Do you have a larger mailing ready or would you like to deliver something digitally, have it printed and delivered? That is also possible at MSG.

Sustainable thinking

MSG’s services are also characterised by thinking about the CO2 footprint. Another good example is the sustainable startup of MSG: Miles.delivery. Miles is the green online courier service that has more than 1,000 couriers in the Netherlands. By means of GPS, the most efficient couriers are selected for (emergency) courier rides, in order to reduce the number of empty (and therefore wasted) courier kilometres. You can register as a customer via the site or download the app. In this way you contribute to a substantial CO2 reduction as an entrepreneur!

Step 2: hub for parcels

There are also plans to further expand the services at Kennispark. In the future, MSG hopes to set up a hub where all incoming parcels will arrive. In this way we want to work towards a more sustainable ‘last-mile’ delivery on site and minimize the number of vans. Together with the Kennispark initiative, Energie is investigating whether the hub could perhaps be merged with the centralization of parking facilities. Soon more information about the collaboration and how we will organize these sustainable additions at Kennispark. Keep an eye on your (online) mailbox 😉
